It is always a good feeling to raise one that you think is good but when you raise one that is good enough for a breeder that you have the up most respect for, that feeling is indescribable! From the day he was born we knew Profit had to potential to be good but with time and maturity he continues to impress us. At the ground he is so big footed, "shaggy", and wide based. Then you study him from there up the story remains the same! Puma has stamped hard, freaky muscle shape and Profit definitely benefited form it! He has a crazy rack shape, huge loin, and tons of expression through his twist and stifle. And of course being out of a Stitzlein ewe he is still built good and attractive from the side! Jesse and I both can't thank Mike Stitzlein enough for first off coming and taking a look at profit, but also for having enough confidence in him to purchase half interest in him. We can not wait to see what Profit can do for both farms!!

When we starting making breeding decisions for our 2018 lamb crop we wanted to breed to something that would grab peoples attention but most importantly make sheep that will be successful in the show ring, this decision wasn’t hard for us to make! After an extremely impressive 2016 show season and lots of success early in 2017, we knew Crinkle was what we needed. Thankfully Justin Nathan and Dwayne Hurliman agreed to sell us some straws of frozen semen. We held back some of our best ewes to LAI to Crinkle so to say we are excited to get them on the ground is an understatement! Make sure keep these on your radar!

We are also excited to introduce Bermuda Triangle! While looking and lambs this spring at Team Johnson's in Ohio JJ kept talking about how good this Bonafide son was that he sold to Stoner Club Lambs in Indiana. When we heard that Tom Stoner had gotten him bred to the twin sister to the mother of Impact's $130,000 high selling ram and on top of that she had a buck lamb, we knew we had to try to get our hands on him!! He is a little bit younger but we can't wait to get ewes bred to him. Thanks again to Tom Stoner for letting us bring this one back to Illinois!!

Jesse and I want to thank the Sloan family for allowing up to be a part of this special breeding piece. We saw him and the rest of his flush mates as young lambs and felt he stood out in a very impressive flush. Ante up definitely continues to exceeded our expectations phenotypically! its hard to find one that is as big footed, wide made and stout pinned as he is and is still built good and attractive from the side. Genetically we knew we couldn't pass up on him either. His sire, Up the Limit, has proven himself with winners and high sellers all across the country. Then on top of that being out of a Burn daughter we knew we couldn't go wrong! It is and understatement saying we cant wait to get lambs out of them!!
